    About QuickLens

    What is QuickLens?

QuickLens is AI visual search for B2B catalogues, from Mumbai, India. From a buyer's photo or a few words, it finds the closest items in the seller's own catalogue, not the public web, ranked, with details such as SKU, weight and purity. It runs on WhatsApp, in the QuickLens web app and through a REST API, alongside the ERP a business already uses.

What products and services does QuickLens offer?

QuickLens is built around AI search, which finds items in your own catalogue from a photo or a few words. Around search, it offers an AI order assistant, which turns voice notes, chat messages, emails and PDF orders into orders ready to approve, and an AI sales copilot, which finds a design, quotes it and drafts the reply. QuickLens also runs AI opportunity audits, custom AI builds and AI workshops for manufacturers and traders.

    Who uses QuickLens?

QuickLens is built first for jewellery manufacturers, wholesalers and retail chains, and is live on real jewellery catalogues. It is also built for packaging and printing, textiles and apparel, and auto components. QuickLens does not publish client names, and its case studies are anonymised.

    Who is behind QuickLens?

QuickLens was founded by Pranshu Jain, who runs it from Mumbai, India. He studied at IIT Bombay and spent seven years in product and engineering before starting QuickLens. The free 15-minute AI audit is a call with him.

    More: About QuickLens

Is QuickLens the same as the QuickLens browser extension or Mac app?

No. QuickLens at quicklens.org is a B2B software business in Mumbai, India. It is not connected to other apps, websites or browser extensions that share the name.

    Search and WhatsApp

    Does QuickLens work on WhatsApp?

Yes. The salesperson forwards the buyer's photo on WhatsApp, and the closest designs from your own catalogue come back with their SKU, weight and purity. The same search runs in the QuickLens web app and through a REST API.

More: Find a design from a WhatsApp photo

Can QuickLens find a design from a description instead of a photo?

Yes. Describe the piece the way the buyer would, such as 'letter P pendant with stones under 5 grams': the words that describe the look are matched against your designs, and the weight is filtered on your SKU master. The same search understands trade language such as 'kada', and filters on category, weight band, carat and stone type.

Do we need to tag or re-shoot our catalogue before using QuickLens?

No tagging is needed: photo search matches the design itself, so nobody has to tag the catalogue first. With plain-words search, QuickLens's models label the designs, so nobody types tags against each SKU. A re-shoot is usually not needed either. Search is built to run on catalogue photos as they are, and where photo quality genuinely limits matching, QuickLens tells you which parts of the catalogue are affected.

Does QuickLens handle Hindi, or mixed Hindi and English?

Yes, for orders. QuickLens's AI order assistant reads voice notes, chat messages, emails and PDF orders in English or Hindi, and mixed Hindi and English speech is handled as the normal case, with item names, sizes and finishes mapped to your own masters. The QuickLens team also replies on WhatsApp or email, in English or Hindi.

    Your ERP and your data

    Does QuickLens replace our ERP?

No. QuickLens sits alongside the ERP you already run: search reads from your ERP and never writes to it, and the records written back are orders and quotations a person has approved. If you switched QuickLens off tomorrow, your ERP would carry on exactly as it does today.

More: Add image search without replacing your ERP

Which ERPs does QuickLens work with?

QuickLens connects over whatever interface your ERP exposes: an API, database views or scheduled files. The work is in mapping your item, unit and customer masters correctly. Tell us which ERP you run and roughly how old the setup is, and we will explain how the connection would work.

    More: API documentation

How does QuickLens handle our design data?

QuickLens uses your designs for one thing, searching your own catalogue, and never uses them to train its AI models. Access is scoped to what the workflow needs, and search never writes to your ERP. QuickLens puts the specifics of your setup in writing before anything is connected.

More: What happens to your designs and data

Are our designs used to train QuickLens's AI?

No. Your designs and photos are used for one thing: searching your own catalogue. They are never used to train QuickLens's AI models.

Where does QuickLens store our data?

In the hosted setup, your catalogue data is stored on AWS in the Mumbai region. If you would rather keep it in-house, QuickLens can run fully on-premise, in your own environment. We put the specifics of your setup in writing before anything is connected.

Can QuickLens run on our own servers?

Yes. QuickLens can run fully on-premise, in your own environment, instead of the hosted setup on AWS in the Mumbai region. Either way, your designs are never used to train QuickLens's AI models.

How long does QuickLens take to set up?

What results can we expect from QuickLens?

Results depend on your catalogue and your team, so the free 15-minute AI audit includes a live search on a sample of your own designs. QuickLens's case studies are anonymised, and each result in them carries a note saying what it measures.
