mirrAR alternatives for jewellery catalogue search
Alternatives to mirrAR for jewellery catalogue search include QuickLens, your ERP vendor's own image search if it has one, and building your own; if virtual try-on is what you need, look at other try-on vendors. mirrAR's visual search lets online shoppers search a brand's catalogue with a photo, screenshot or social media look, and its visual search site also has a section for B2B manufacturers. QuickLens fits a jewellery manufacturer, wholesaler or retail chain whose sales desk gets buyer photos on WhatsApp and needs the closest designs from its own catalogue, with SKU, weight and purity, alongside its ERP. mirrAR also offers virtual try-on, which QuickLens does not.

When does mirrAR fit?
mirrAR fits a brand that wants virtual try-on, or visual search for shoppers on its online store. According to mirrAR's website, its visual search lets shoppers search a brand's catalogue using photos, screenshots or social media looks and works with Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce and more, and mirrAR offers virtual try-on for necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets and more on websites, in apps and on in-store screens. mirrAR says its image search is "trained specifically on jewelry design elements", and its virtual try-on lets shoppers see a piece on themselves before they buy. mirrAR describes its visual search as "built for e-commerce", and its visual search site also has a section for B2B manufacturers ("Match client photos to your inventory").
What are the alternatives to mirrAR for jewellery catalogue search?
Each option answers a different need, so the right one depends on who searches and what has to come back.
- QuickLens, for the sales desk. It fits a jewellery manufacturer, wholesaler or retail chain whose sales desk gets buyer photos on WhatsApp. The salesperson forwards the buyer's photo on WhatsApp, and the closest designs from your own catalogue come back with their SKU, weight and purity. QuickLens sits alongside the ERP you already run: search reads from your ERP and never writes to it, and the records written back are orders and quotations a person has approved. Photo search matches the design itself, so nobody has to tag the catalogue first. It needs your catalogue images and SKU master set up first, and a poorly photographed design is harder to match. For a design you don't have, it returns the closest you do have.
- Your ERP vendor's own image search, if it has one. If your ERP vendor offers AI design search, compare it with the other routes on the same sample of your designs. The jewellery buyer's guide lists seven checks that sort catalogue search tools.
- Building your own. Your developers connect a cloud vision API and a vector database to your item master. You control every part, and your team runs it and keeps the index in sync as designs change. It fits a business with its own developers that wants to own the whole system. How to build jewellery image search, or when to buy it lists the eight parts it takes.
- Other virtual try-on vendors, if try-on is what you need. If you want shoppers to see a piece on themselves before they buy, compare mirrAR with other vendors that offer virtual try-on. QuickLens offers no virtual try-on.
If you sell to shoppers online and to trade buyers on WhatsApp, a storefront tool and a sales-desk search can sit side by side. Ask every vendor, us included, to show the search working on a sample of your own designs before you decide.
mirrAR alternatives: common questions
Which mirrAR alternative fits a jewellery manufacturer or wholesaler?
It depends on who is searching. For a sales desk that answers buyers' photos from its own catalogue, look at QuickLens, your ERP vendor's own image search if it has one, or building your own. For virtual try-on, compare mirrAR with other vendors that offer it. Ask every vendor, us included, to show the search working on a sample of your own designs before you decide.
Is QuickLens an alternative to mirrAR?
Yes, for catalogue search. QuickLens is AI visual search for the people who sell. A salesperson sends in a buyer's photo through WhatsApp, the web app or the API and gets the closest designs from the company's own catalogue, with SKU, weight and purity, and search never writes to the ERP. mirrAR describes its visual search as built for e-commerce: shoppers search a brand's catalogue with a photo, screenshot or social media look, and its visual search site also has sections for B2B manufacturers and franchise staff. mirrAR also offers virtual try-on, which QuickLens does not.
Does QuickLens offer virtual try-on like mirrAR?
No. QuickLens finds designs in your own catalogue and does not offer virtual try-on. mirrAR's website lists virtual try-on for necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets, on websites, in apps, on in-store screens and in social media filters.
What if our ERP vendor offers its own image search?
If your ERP vendor offers AI design search, compare it with the other routes on the same sample of your designs. QuickLens sits alongside the ERP you already run and connects over whatever it exposes: an API, database views or scheduled files. Search reads from your ERP and never writes to it, and the records written back are orders and quotations a person has approved.
Should we build our own jewellery image search or buy one?
Build it if you have an in-house engineering team that wants to own every part, or if your needs are unusual enough that no product meets them. Buy it if your team's job is selling jewellery, your enquiries arrive on WhatsApp, and you would rather test search on a sample of your own designs than build and run a search system. Either way, test it on your own designs and on real buyer photos before you decide.
How much does QuickLens cost?
QuickLens plans start at $675 a year plus taxes, with no charge per search. There are three packages, Core, Teams and Commerce, and the yearly fee depends on the package and the size of your catalogue. A one-time fee of around $560 applies if you need ERP integration or custom requirements, and not otherwise. We give an exact quote after a free 15-minute AI audit.
