QuickLens vs mirrAR: which visual search fits a jewellery manufacturer's own catalogue?

QuickLens is for the salespeople and counter staff at jewellery manufacturers, wholesalers and retail chains. A buyer's photo goes in through WhatsApp, the web app or the API, and the closest designs come back from your own catalogue with SKU, weight and purity. mirrAR's visual search lets online shoppers search a brand's catalogue with a photo, screenshot or social media look, and its visual search site also has a section for B2B manufacturers. mirrAR also offers virtual try-on, which QuickLens does not.

How each one handles a jewellery enquiry

On a jewellery sales desk, the question often arrives as a forwarded photo: "do you have something like this, around 20 grams?" With QuickLens, the salesperson sends in that photo, gets ranked designs from the company's own catalogue with SKU, weight and purity, and replies on WhatsApp. With plain-words search, the same index also answers plain-language requests, so "letter P pendant" finds pendants nobody tagged as "letter P". Search runs on catalogue images as they are, and we tell you where photo quality limits matching. The AI sales copilot can turn the chosen design into a quotation at the day's rate.

On mirrAR's AI Visual Search page, the shopper comes first. The search sits on a brand's website or app: the shopper uploads a photo, screenshot or social media look and sees similar products from that brand's catalogue, including when the original item is sold out. mirrAR says its image search is "trained specifically on jewelry design elements", and its virtual try-on lets shoppers see a piece on themselves before they buy. mirrAR's visual search site also speaks to businesses. It has a "B2B Manufacturers" section ("Match client photos to your inventory") and a "Franchise Staff" section for finding "product variants across your entire catalog", and it takes catalogues "via CSV, API, or bulk upload".

    QuickLens vs mirrAR: common questions

What is the difference between QuickLens and mirrAR?

QuickLens is AI visual search for the people who sell. A salesperson sends in a buyer's photo through WhatsApp, the web app or the API and gets the closest designs from the company's own catalogue, with SKU, weight and purity, and search never writes to the ERP. mirrAR describes its visual search as built for e-commerce: shoppers search a brand's catalogue with a photo, screenshot or social media look, and its visual search site also has sections for B2B manufacturers and franchise staff. mirrAR also offers virtual try-on and a jewellery CRM.

Which is better for a jewellery manufacturer or wholesaler?

It depends on who is searching and where the enquiry arrives. If your buyers are retailers and wholesale clients who send design photos on WhatsApp, and your team answers from its own stock with SKU, weight and purity, QuickLens fits that work: it searches your own catalogue and runs alongside your ERP without writing to it. mirrAR's visual search site also has a section for B2B manufacturers, and mirrAR adds storefront visual search and virtual try-on if you sell to consumers online. Ask every vendor, us included, to show the search working on a sample of your own designs before you decide.

Does QuickLens offer virtual try-on like mirrAR?

No. QuickLens finds designs in your own catalogue and does not offer virtual try-on. mirrAR's website lists virtual try-on for necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets, on websites, in apps, on in-store screens and in social media filters.

Does QuickLens work with my ERP?

Yes. QuickLens sits alongside the ERP you already run and connects over whatever it exposes: an API, database views or scheduled files. Search reads from your ERP and never writes to it, and the records written back are orders and quotations a person has approved. If you switched QuickLens off tomorrow, your ERP would carry on exactly as it does today.

    How much does QuickLens cost?

QuickLens plans start at $675 a year plus taxes, with no charge per search. There are three packages, Core, Teams and Commerce, and the yearly fee depends on the package and the size of your catalogue. A one-time fee of around $560 applies if you need ERP integration or custom requirements, and not otherwise. We give an exact quote after a free 15-minute AI audit.

Can QuickLens run on our own servers?

Yes. QuickLens can run fully on-premise, in your own environment, instead of the hosted setup on AWS in the Mumbai region. Either way, your designs are never used to train QuickLens's AI models.

How can I try QuickLens on my own catalogue?
